How to manage client invoices with WriterGate

If you are a content marketing agency that produces content for companies, you may find it time-consuming to create invoices. In addition, it’s error-prone and could result in a bad reputation for your business.

Pre-requisites

It’s important to state that only users having permission to manage Client Invoices can create & manage them. Therefore, you should first define the users that can manage client invoices by navigating to the user management panel in your organization.

Enabling Client Invoices

Afterward, you will need to enable client invoices for your organization (if you have not done that before already)

To do so, visit Settings → Invoicing to set up the article statuses under Enable Client Invoices on your Enterprise account**.**

Please note that an enterprise owner can only do this.

Creating a New Client

After assigning the relevant stages, you need to visit Settings → Client and then click on the New button to create a new client in your organization.

Then, you need to focus on filling in some mandatory billing information to create a client. They are as below:

  1. Client Name
  2. Next Invoice Number that helps you keep track of the next invoice begins. And it ensures that billing information is appropriately documented for tax and billing purposes while managing overdue invoices.
  3. Client Billing Email
  4. Client Billing Address
  5. Preferred Currency, which supports you enforce a currency that the client expects to pay you with.

And finally, click the Create button.

Creating Your Client Invoice

Afterward, you can head over to “Client Invoices” and start creating your client invoices. The best part of WriterGate is that it does not let you bill the same content twice. Therefore, the chances of you billing the same content twice over different months (or the same) is impossible with WriterGate!
